He absolutely lost it when the Court ordered Albert Snyder to pay WBC’s expenses after winning an appeal of the $10.9 million verdict Snyder won at the trial court. Pitts claims to be a strong believer in the First Amendment; yet, he suggested, "surely we could carve out some reasonable exception that would keep a Fred Phelps from intruding on the solemnity of a private funeral". - Then, he concludes his rants with "these ‘Christians’ are going to knock the bottom out of hell." So, now he’s a theologian! He should have used his position to teach obedience and to warn his neighbor to flee the wrath that is coming on this land. Now, their blood is on his hands. "When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand" (Ezk. 33:8).
