- PBS News Hour is a television news program that runs weeknights in the United States. It’s produced by the longstanding Robert MacNeil/Jim Lehrer team, with Lehrer being a key presenter. Lehrer, a past presidential debate moderator, is famous for having a low-key, uber-sterile journalistic style, religiously adhering to his and MacNeil’s standard of professionalism. It’s very tidy, with the “you’re all good, I’m all good” approach while carefully & clinically leaving his opinion out of the story. And we’re happy for him; we’ll let him finish. But while WBC, a humble, little church in the middle of the country was hauled half-way across the nation to be put on trial solely because of their religious speech (in clear violation of their First Amendment rights) – there sits Jim Lehrer and the PBS News Hour silent as a tomb.
- Not until four years, four months and a day into that arduous battle – after a military judge filled the legal record with his obvious hatred of this church’s doctrines, after a runaway jury awarded plaintiff Al (“You Really Are A Pussy”) Snyder a 10.9 million dollar verdict, after the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned that unconstitutional ruling in favor of WBC and after Synder’s traitorous military lawyers appealed to the Supreme Court of the United States and was granted Writ of Certiorari – did Lehrer & PBS News Hour decide to pull his/its head out of the sand and report about the satanic effort of trying to shut down this church of the Lord Jesus Christ because of the message they have for this sinful and rebellious generation. - Like I said: tidy. They report as if this is just an intellectual exercise – another legal issue that needs to be sorted out by the courts; we’ll just agree to disagree. LUKEWARM! God has promised to spew you out when you don’t make judgments according to His standard (Revelation 3:16). Albert Snyder is a faithless father with a dead son and a tormented conscience and you failed to take him to task for his treachery in suing a church to shut up their honest speech. You, PBS News Hour & Jim Lehrer, had an opportunity to say “Hey! These WBC people might be onto something, here!” This is the soul of the nation that’s at stake here. These are your soldiers dying for this country’s proud sins. As you can see from the video excerpts above, Westboro Baptist Church members gave plenty of sound, relevant theological reasoning for the church's position - all of which ended up on the PBS cutting-room floor.
- This is your nation’s – your countrymen’s! – doom we’re talking about here! Where is your investigative journalism? Why aren’t you getting down to the bottom of the issues? God is angry with america for the policies of disobedience (fornication, incest, sodomy, adultery, 50% divorce rate, murder, and MESSING WITH HIS SERVANTS FOR WARNING YOU OF YOUR IMPENDING DOOM – to name but a few) she has instituted at every level. And He is repaying america to her face (bombings, shootings, towers crashing to the ground, hurricanes, tornadoes, raping priests marring your children for life – to name but a few). You have the key of knowledge, of information – you see it all – and yet you are blind dogs, REFUSING to see the rod and who has appointed it and REFUSING to use your God-given platform to warn your neighbors to flee the wrath to come by repenting of their grievous sins against the Lord God of Hosts. You propped up your own standard, Mr. Lehrer, when you have a perfectly good standard given to you from the God of Eternity – who you will have to give a face-to-face accounting to at the Throne of Judgment.
